If effective, it would designate GDLC as Grayscale\u2019s third digital currency investment vehicle to become an SEC reporting company, following <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24GBTC&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$GBTC<\/a> as the first and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24ETHE&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$ETHE<\/a> as the second in the US.<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/z0KkJ7OMbu\">https:\/\/t.co\/z0KkJ7OMbu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Grayscale (@Grayscale) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Grayscale\/status\/1392810640998289409?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 13, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>If approved, the GDLC will be obliged to file quarterly and annual financial reports in addition to other mandated documents stated in the Exchange Act.\u00a0The move is also the first step in making the GDLC into a publicly-traded asset since an approval form the SEC would mean registration of the shares of the fund with the commission.<\/p>\n<p>Launched back in 2019, GDLC has grown almost 300% and currently holds about $630.1 million in assets under management, according to<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/grayscale.com\/products\/grayscale-digital-large-cap-fund\/\"> data<\/a> from the company&#8217;s website.
