Jackson<\/strong> as an unlikely duo constantly at each other\u2019s throats. But when it comes to the upcoming sequel, <strong><em>The Hitman\u2019s Wife\u2019s Bodyguard<\/em><\/strong>, they\u2019re throwing it back to the 1990s even harder with an old school voiceover in the latest trailer. I honestly can\u2019t remember the last time I heard a movie use a deep, rich trailer voice like this. It\u2019s rather soothing, even if it\u2019s totally cheesy. So hop in a time machine ,and check out the new\u00a0trailer below.<span id=\"more-671210\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Hitmans_Wifes_Bodyguard_Trailer\"><\/span>The Hitman\u2019s Wife\u2019s Bodyguard Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Hitman\u2019s Wife\u2019s Bodyguard (2021 Movie) Trailer \u2013 Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Salma Hayek\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9C0l31YcahQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>There are plenty of new action and comedy beats here, especially when it comes to the dynamic between Reynolds and Jackson. But now there\u2019s the addition of <strong>Salma Hayek<\/strong>, who gets wild and crazy when it\u2019s called for, but doesn\u2019t have anywhere near as contentious a relationship with Reynolds\u2019 character.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->However, what the trailer is still lacking is any real semblance of a plot beyond very vague mentions of some kind of evil plan by <strong>Antonio Banderas<\/strong>, looking very much like a typical action villain, complete with a fancy robe and slick haircut. There\u2019s also still no sign of <strong>Morgan Freeman<\/strong>, though Lionsgate has teased his role as an amusing one to see when the movie arrives in theaters this summer. The rest of the cast includes <span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\"><strong>Frank Grillo<\/strong>, <strong>Caroline Goodall<\/strong>, <strong>Rebecca Front<\/strong>, <strong>Gabriella Wright<\/strong>, <strong>Alice McMillan<\/strong>, <strong>Kristofer Kamiyasu<\/strong>, <strong>Tom Hopper<\/strong>, <strong>Blake Ritson<\/strong>, with <strong>Richard E. Grant<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Honestly, I was a little underwhelmed by <em>The Hitman\u2019s Bodyguard<\/em>. Though I think the chemistry between Reynolds and Jackson is something special, the movie felt like it was trying too hard to be funny and a number of jokes just didn\u2019t land for me. Maybe the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a> needed a pass by a punch-up team of co<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>ns instead of relying on Reynolds and his natural comedic timing and charm.
