Ltd.<br \/>\n        2317,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/207256514\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+0.98%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       better known as Foxconn, revealed that they will jointly invest in a plan to manufacture an electric vehicle in the U.S. Fisker, which plans to start production of its first automobile \u2014 the Ocean electric SUV \u2014 in Europe in the fourth quarter of 2022, said that it expects to be in production somewhere in the U.S. in the fourth quarter of 2023.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       \u201cOur partnership with Foxconn and the creation of Project PEAR has taken shape with remarkable speed and clarity of vision,\u201d Chief Executive Henrik Fisker said in a statement, later adding that he seeks to charge less than $30,000 for the EV before incentives.<\/p>\n<p>Foxconn, Apple\u2019s<br \/>\n        AAPL,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/202934861\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+1.79%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       largest Asian manufacturing partner, will bring needed manufacturing knowledge and supply connections to the joint partnership, which the two dubbed Project PEAR, for \u201cpersonal electric automotive revolution.\u201d Supply-chain connections could play an important role amid a semiconductor shortage that has roiled automotive manufacturing for months.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have world-class supply chains in place to support Project PEAR \u2013 in particular, securing the reliable delivery of chipsets and semiconductors,\u201d Foxconn <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Technology<\/a> Group Chairman Young-way Liu said in Thursday\u2019s announcement.<\/p>\n<p>The car will be jointly developed and sold under the Fisker brand, with the companies sharing the proceeds. They expect to expand manufacturing beyond the U.S. and eventually produce 250,000 cars a year across multiple sites and sell them in North America, Europe, China and India.<\/p>\n<p>Fisker is one of a handful of young public companies seeking to emulate Tesla Inc.<br \/>\n        TSLA,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/203558040\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-3.09%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       in developing, manufacturing and selling electric cars.
