Potentially promising.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/dogecoin\">Coingecko<\/a>, the price climbed 26% from $0.38 this morning to $0.48 at the time of writing. <\/p>\n<p>The tweet\u2019s reference to \u201cefficiency\u201d seemed to lend weight to the idea Tesla may add DOGE as a form of payment, after the CEO noted yesterday the firm is looking at greener cryptocurrencies that use less than 1% of Bitcoin\u2019s energy per transaction. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-05\/4ecc01d4-1a1d-4dbe-a322-9513170db65f.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>DOGE\/USDT: Coingecko<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>TradingView responded to Musk\u2019s tweet by noting Dogecoin\u2019s market cap had ballooned $10 billion in the im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>te aftermath. We want to offer all assets that meet our listing standards and we hope to be the place where you can come and trade anything that you want to trade.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dog_tokens_boom\"><\/span>Dog tokens boom<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Interest in Doge has sparked the creation of various copycat tokens including Shiba Inu (SHIB), Husky (HUSKY), and Akita Inu (AKITA). <\/p>\n<p>Akita Inu gained 32,933% in 30 days and hit its all-time high on May 11 of $0.00002904. The price has since taken a sharp hit of 72.6% down to $0.00000787 today. The trading <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/akita-inu\">volume<\/a> over the past 24 hours was a mammoth $177 million according to Coingecko. <\/p>\n<p>SHIB has also been garnering a lot of attention from retail investors of late, with data from Coingecko <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/shiba-inu\">showing<\/a> that $5.4 million worth of SHIB traded hands in the past 24 hours. The price plunged after Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin gave away vast amounts of the token on May 12.
