Two Detroit r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ers, who performed together under the alias Deuces Wild, were <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fox2detroit.com\/news\/metro-detroit-rappers-charged-with-stealing-over-5-million-from-irs\">busted by the Internal Revenue Service<\/a> on a complex $5.5 million fraud scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Sameerah \u201cCreme\u201d Marrel and Noelle \u201cNikki Brown\u201d Brown were charged with aggravated identity theft, false claims and conspiracy, according to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fox2detroit.com\/news\/metro-detroit-rappers-charged-with-stealing-over-5-million-from-irs\"><em>FOX2 Detroit<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They used loopholes, created businesses, filed 122 returns and opened at least 29 bank accounts to\u00a0claim withholdings and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.detroitnews.com\/story\/news\/local\/detroit-city\/2021\/05\/12\/female-rappers-metro-detroit-stole-millions-fraud-scheme-feds-say\/5057571001\/?gnt-cfr=1\">refunds of more than $13.6 million<\/a> from 2013 to 2018.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Feds: Female rappers bilked millions from IRS with tax fraud scheme\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/f8TjR4ChNEs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Marrel appeared before a federal court last week while <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.audacy.com\/wwjnewsradio\/news\/local\/detroit-female-rappers-allegedly-stole-millions-from-irs\">Brown reportedly<\/a> isn\u2019t in custody yet. If convicted, the duo will face 10 years each behind bars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph paragraph--station\" data-uri=\"www.audacy.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/ckon61dai000k3g6zehi5cq5s@published\" data-editable=\"text\">\u201cThese returns were all identified as fraudulent because the returns claimed that the IRS had withheld large amounts of income tax from the trusts purportedly filing the returns and that those trusts were therefore entitled to large refunds of the excess income tax withheld,\u201d the complaint, which was unsealed this week, reads.<\/p>\n<p data-uri=\"www.audacy.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/ckon61dai000k3g6zehi5cq5s@published\" data-editable=\"text\">An alleged best friend to Nikki Brown, who is listed as CH in the documents, tipped off federal agents in an interview where Brown told her that Marrel knew how to shrewdly apply for lucrative business loans and offered to help her if she was interested.<\/p>\n<p data-uri=\"www.audacy.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/ckon61dai000k3g6zehi5cq5s@published\" data-editable=\"text\">\n<p data-uri=\"www.audacy.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/ckon61dai000k3g6zehi5cq5s@published\" data-editable=\"text\">Marrel allegedly put CH\u2019s name into a pot where a winner would get the grant money. CH received a $51,000 check from the IRS and was instructed to get a cashier\u2019s check of over $28,000 made payable to\u00a0Marrel\u2019s Clean Sleep Properties business.<\/p>\n<p data-uri=\"www.audacy.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/ckon61dai000k3g6zehi5cq5s@published\" data-editable=\"text\">The rap group known as Deuces Wild hasn\u2019t released music together in years.
