With radiofrequency systems, it would take roughly nine weeks to transmit a complete map of Mars back to Earth; with laser, it would take about nine days, according to\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/feature\/goddard\/2021\/laser-communications-empowering-more-data-than-ever-before\">NASA<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Laser communications will allow 10 to 100 times more data transmitted back to Earth and open the doors to new discoveries. The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> will then be used to support real space missions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>NASA\u2019s Integrated Low-Earth Orbit User Modem and Amplifier Terminal (ILLUMA-T), set to launch to the International Space Station in 2022, will be the first in-space user of LCRD.\u00a0\n            <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
