With years of experience in improv and sketch comedy, including the hit Comedy Central <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> <em>Key &amp; Peele<\/em>, the co<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>n made for one of the best hosts of the season. As a pleasant surprise, <em>SNL<\/em> also came with other special guests in the form of some of <strong>The Muppets<\/strong>, including the balcony hecklers Statler &amp; Waldorf. But security wasn\u2019t going to let them get away with it this time.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the <em>Saturday Night Live<\/em> Muppets sketch below.<span id=\"more-671649\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Saturday_Night_Live_Muppets_Sketch\"><\/span>Saturday Night Live Muppets Sketch<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Muppet Show - SNL\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3uItJuJeuDg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->Framed as an episode <em>The Muppet Show<\/em>, the <em>SNL<\/em> sketch finds Statler &amp; Waldorf giving Kermit the Frog a hard time, as usual. But in this episode, the theater where <em>The Muppet Show<\/em> is filmed has a new security team, and they\u2019re not going to stand for any heckling. Not only do they come out and yell at the old Muppet men to stop them from interrupting the show, but things get a little physical when they don\u2019t listen. It\u2019s a fun twist on a staple of <em>The Muppet Show<\/em>, especially with Keegan-Michael Key and Kenan Thompson as the security guards.<\/p>\n<p>However, it\u2019s clear that these aren\u2019t the real Muppets who are <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earing on the show. Even though <em>SNL<\/em> has a history of bringing in Jim Henson\u2019s characters to appear on the sketch series, this is not one of those instances. Though the puppets created for the sketch are very well-made, they\u2019re not quite Muppet quality, and the same can be said for the puppeteering. On top of that, it\u2019s the cast members of <em>SNL<\/em> providing the voices for Kermit the Frog and Statler &amp; Waldorf. They\u2019re not bad, but they\u2019re not the usual voices you\u2019re used to hearing (though whoever is voicing Kermit in this sketch sounds better than Disney\u2019s current Kermit voice actor Matt Vogel).<\/p>\n<p>All things considered, this was a fantastic sketch. I\u2019m sure the reason that the real Muppets didn\u2019t actually appear in the show is that it would have been logistically difficult to pull off. Plus, even if that wasn\u2019t the case, having a human physically beat up Statler is probably something Disney wouldn\u2019t be on board with.
