The company launched a new ad-supported\u00a0streaming platform called Amazon MiniTV that lives inside the main shopping <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>MiniTV currently resides in Amazon\u2019s Android app and has various content sections including Comedy, Lifestyle, and Web <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Series<\/a>. It\u2019s separate from Amazon Prime Video, the company\u2019s paid streaming service.<\/p>\n<p>Amazon has partnered with content studios such as The Viral Fever (TVF) and Pocket Aces to bring their shows to the platform. Food lovers can enjoy content from Kabita\u2019s Kitchen, Cook with Nisha, and Gobble. In the coming months, MiniTV will add many more new and exclusive videos.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, there\u2019s no information on if it plans to experiment with product integrations or launch a separate app. We\u2019ve asked the company to provide more details, and we\u2019ll update the story if we hear back.<\/p>\n<p>Ad-supported streaming services have found some success in India, with Times Internet-owned MX Player being the top app in the category. Plus, there\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a> \u2014 which has more than 450 million users in the country.<\/p>\n<p>MiniTV could be a marketing platform for Amazon to sell products or Prime subscriptions priced at \u20b9999 ($13.63) per year, which will you give access to Amazon Prime Video.<\/p>\n<p>In January, the ecommerce company teamed up with mobile network provider Airtel to debut <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2021\/01\/13\/amazon-launches-mobile-only-prime-video-subscription-in-india\/\">a mobile-only plan for \u20b989 ($1.2) per month<\/a>.\u00a0 Amazon\u2019s streaming rival, Netflix, launched a similar \u20b9198 ($3) plan in India in 2019.<\/p>\n<p><i>Did you know we have a newsletter all about consumer tech?
