May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which has prompted a growing number of people to speak out about their struggles on social media<\/a>. One of those people is\u00a0Snoop Dogg\u2019s\u00a021-year-old daughter Cori Broadus.<\/p>\n

On Sunday (May 16), Broadus shared a series<\/a> of photos to her Instagram account and confessed she\u2019d recently been at such a low point in her life, she considered ending it.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last few weeks my mental has not been so great,\u201d she confessed in the caption. \u201cat one point I tried to end my life but you & my family really give me a purpose to live & helped me realize life is much more than materialistic things & you gotta just keep pushing through the bullshit. THANK YOU\u2026\u00a0#mentalhealthawareness.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cori Broadus is one of the survivors. According to the\u00a0Suicide Awareness<\/a>\u00a0website, suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States and every day, app<\/a>roximately 130 people take their own life. But over 285,000 survive an attempt.<\/p>\n

Snoop Dogg\u00a0has three other children, including Cordell, Julian and Corde. He\u2019s also a grandfather of six grandchildren. In March, their family welcomed a granddaughter named Chateau.<\/p>\n

Snoop\u2019s longtime wife Shante shared a photo of the baby girl on Instagram, writing,\u00a0\u201cWas Down Earlier But She Just Took All Of That Away. My 6th GrandBaby Girl\u00a0#ChateauBroaudus.\u00a0I Love You Baby Girl Can\u2019t Wait To Hold You In My Arms.\u00a0#MamaTae.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Snoop and Shante were headed to divorce in 2004 after the Hip Hop legend reportedly cheated on her. But he quickly regretted his decision and worked hard to get her back.<\/p>\n

\u201cI fell back in love with my wife and kids,\u201d he said in an interview with\u00a0MTV\u00a0<\/em>at the time. \u201cA lot of times, you get cloudy. This music industry is a mother, man, and it\u2019ll take your vision and blur it. But I need my wife and my kids in my life. So, if you hear about divorce, it\u2019ll be my wife divorcing me. It won\u2019t be me divorcing her.\u201d<\/p>\n
