\nMan, it\u2019s just a day for learning about secret quickie marriages isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

Just hours after found out about Ariana Grande<\/strong>, the news<\/a> got out about another celeb who tied the knot without telling anyone. Only this time it may have been less about privacy and more about avoiding controversy\u2026<\/p>\n

The star in question is\u00a0This Is Us<\/em> actor\u00a0Justin Hartley<\/strong>, who reportedly married his girlfriend,\u00a0Sofia Pernas<\/strong>. When<\/em>? Well, that is the question, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

Fans first became suspicious when the couple showed up to the\u00a0MTV Movie & TV Awards<\/strong> on Sunday, both with rings on that<\/em> finger. That hardware turned out to be legit \u2014 sources confirmed to multiple outlets that the couple had indeed gotten hitched, some time \u201crecently.\u201d It\u2019s been at least a few weeks as the couple can be seen wearing those same rings while enjoying a beach day in photos published HERE<\/a> on Page Six<\/em> at the beginning of the month.<\/p>\n

An insider told\u00a0ET<\/em>:<\/p>\n

\u201cJustin and Sofia have only been married for a short period of time and their ceremony was private\u2026 The couple had an instant chemistry and early on discussed marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What\u2019s a short period of time? And when is \u201cearly on\u201d? It really depends on whom you ask.<\/p>\n

Remember, until\u00a0very<\/em> recently Justin was married to someone else:\u00a0Selling Sunset<\/em> star\u00a0Chrishell Stause<\/strong>. In November of 2019, he filed for divorce, listing their separation date as July 8 \u2014 despite the fact they\u2019d been seen together in public, looking happ<\/a>y as ever, just days before the filing. Chrishell, who was said to be \u201cshocked\u201d and \u201creeling\u201d from the action, seemingly corrected the record, listing the date in her own papers as in November.<\/p>\n

We couldn\u2019t figure out the discrepancy at the time; there seemed to be a real shaky idea of when everything went down. Notice a pattern?<\/p>\n

What made things seem to make sense was seeing Justin shortly thereafter kissing Sofia, his old co-star from his time on\u00a0The Young And The Restless<\/em>. It was unclear how long they\u2019d been together, but the kiss was so casual as she dropped him off, it seemed like the action of a longtime couple. Plus they\u2019d worked together five years beforehand, so they\u2019d known each other quite a while.<\/p>\n

They didn\u2019t become\u00a0Instagram<\/strong> official for another 7 months. But as to when they first got together? Still a total mystery.<\/p>\n
