Maybe it was looking for a bite?<\/p>\n

A large alligator paid a blood-freezing visit to a Wendy\u2019s in Florida on Monday.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-long reptile chased pedestrians through the fast food restaurant\u2019s parking lot in Lehigh Acres, the Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe may have just been \u2018hangry\u2019 for a cheeseburger, but he gave many quite the scare!,\u201d the authorities joked in a tweet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The gator was also spotted across the street, wandering through the parking lot of a rehabilitation center, in video<\/a> posted by the Lehigh Acres Fire Department.<\/p>\n

Wildlife officials said the animal was likely just trying to go from one body of water to another with its journey across Lee Boulevard, local outlet WZVN-TV reported.<\/p>\n

Authorities were able to wrangle the beast, and a trapp<\/a>er was relocating it to a farm in LaBelle, Florida.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
