Now he\u2019s facing off against the only foe that he may be able to beat temporarily, but that is sure to get the best of him in the end: time.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong><em>The Ice Road<\/em><\/strong>, Neeson plays a big rig driver who has experience driving on the dangerous icy roads of Canada. When a mine collapses and the tr<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed workers running out of time, Neeson and co-star <strong>Laurence Fishburne<\/strong> have to put a team of specialists together to traverse that treacherous terrain and save the day. So yeah, it\u2019s essentially Neeson doing a riff on <em>Armageddon<\/em> \u2013 and this project hails from one of the writers of that movie, so it feels like more than just a coincidence.<span id=\"more-672031\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Ice_Road_Trailer\"><\/span>The Ice Road Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Ice Road | Official Trailer | Netflix\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-zjikObAJHk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post --><strong>Jonathan Hensleigh<\/strong> wrote and directed this icy action thriller, which should appeal to the wide swath of Neeson-loving dads out there as well as the folks who have seen every episode of the reality <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TV series<\/a>\u00a0<em>Ice Road Truckers<\/em>. And yes, Hensleigh is one of the credited writers of <em>Armageddon<\/em>,\u00a0alongside names like Robert Roy Pool (<em>Outbreak<\/em>), Shane Salerno (the upcoming <em>Avatar<\/em> sequels), Tony Gilroy (<em>The Bourne Legacy<\/em>), and some guy named J.J. Abrams. But he also wrote the famous spec script <em>Simon Says<\/em>, which was eventually made as\u00a0<em>Die Hard with a Vengeance<\/em>, and wrote the scripts for <em>Jumanji<\/em>\u00a0and the Nic Cage film <em>Next<\/em>, while writing and directing\u00a0<em>Kill the Irishman<\/em>\u00a0and the 2004 adaptation of <em>The Punisher<\/em>, which starred Thomas Jane in the lead role.<\/p>\n<p>Netflix has <strong>Benjamin Walker<\/strong> (<em>Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter<\/em>), <strong>Amber Midthunder<\/strong> (<em>Legion<\/em>), and <strong>Marcus Thomas<\/strong> (<em>Drowning Mona<\/em>) listed as additional cast members, but IMDb says <strong>Holt McCallany<\/strong> (<em>Mindhunter<\/em>, <em>Lights Out<\/em>) is also on board, so I\u2019m curious to see if that ends up being true.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the film\u2019s official synopsis:<\/p>\n<div>\n<blockquote><p>\nAfter a remote diamond mine collapses in far northern Canada, a \u2018big-rig\u2019 ice road driver (Neeson) must lead an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the trapped miners.
