And that\u2019s exactly what Nippon Paper\u2019s project plans to fix.<\/p>\n<p>In <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-021-85901-3\">a paper<\/a> published in March, a team of collaborating scientists offered evidence that supercapacitors using cellulose nanofiber <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> could store large amounts of energy.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps it\u2019s just me, but I can\u2019t easily grasp how a technology that is currently used in products such as diapers and food additives could actually become the next-gen powertrain of electric vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>For anyone curious about it, a cellulose nanofiber\u00a0<span>pilot energy storage system will be demonstrated\u00a0\u00a0at the World Expo in Osaka in 2025, while the firm aims to commercialize its product by the following decade.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p><i><span>Do EVs excite your electrons?
