The official website for the anime<\/a> adaptation of Rifujin na Magonote\u2019s<\/span> Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation<\/span><\/i> light novel series<\/a> announced that the anime\u2019s second cour will premiere in October after a delay from its initial July premiere date. The site states the delay is as a result of \u201cvarious circumstances.\u201d A new visual for the anime was also released.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the site revealed that the third and fourth Blu-ray Disc releases of the first cour has been delayed. The third release is delayed from October 20 to January 19, and the fourth release is delayed from December 22 to March 16.<\/span><\/p>\n

Manabu Okamoto (<\/span>Game<\/a>rs!<\/span><\/i>) served as the anime\u2019s director, Hiroki Hirano (<\/span>Sword Art Online: Alicization<\/span><\/i>) as assistant director, and Kazutaka Sugiyama (<\/span>Her Blue Sky<\/span><\/i>) as character designer and chief animation director. Other staff members include Yoshiko Saitou (<\/span>Redo of Healer<\/span><\/i>) as sub-character designer and chief animation director, Masakazu Miyake (<\/span>ID:INVADED<\/span><\/i>) as art director, Makiko Doi (<\/span>Fate\/Apocrypha<\/span><\/i>) as color designer, and Shinji Tonsho (<\/span>Stars Align<\/span><\/i>) as photography director. The animation production was from Studio Bind and EGG FIRM.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The cast includes Yumi Uchiyama as Rudeus Greyrat, Tomokazu Sugita as Rudeus Grayrat\u2019s former self, Konomi Kohara as Roxy Migurdia, Ai Kakuma as Eris Boreas Greyrat, Ai Kayano as Sylphiette, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Paul Greyrat, Hisako Kanemoto as Zenith Greyrat, Lynn as Lillia, and Daisuke Namikawa as Ruijerd Superdia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The anime\u2019s first cour premiered on January 10. Funimation streamed the series as it aired and describes the story as:<\/span><\/p>\n

The story follows a 34-year-old man who is killed after trying to save someone from getting hit by a car. He soon finds himself reincarnated in a magical world as Rudeus Greyrat, except that he gets his whole life reset, starting as a baby.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

With all of his knowledge from his previous life, and a new heaping helping of magical ability, Rudeus quickly becomes a formidable warrior ready for adventure. Oh, and he\u2019s still a total pervert.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n\n
