The recovery from COVID is a major piece to that, but so is public safety, so is public transportation, so is dealing with housing issues, so is making sure small businesses are able to open,\u201d said Home Healthcare Workers union vice president Joe Pecora.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEric Adams has a plan to address all these issues, as well as the experience and know-how to translate that experience into results. We feel he is the best candidate for the job. Brad has been a steadfast tenant advocate before he was elected to the City Council and during his eight years there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Johnson and Lander were the only two candidates to fill out Tenants PAC\u2019s questionnaire, a prerequisite for an endorsement interview.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson also has won the lion\u2019s share of major labor endorsements in the comptroller\u2019s race, but Lander has won the backing of lefty firebrand Rep.
