Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), the ranking member of the panel, and other Republicans on the committee released the report <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/house-intel-republicans-say-significant-circumstantial-evidence-of-covid-wuhan-lab-leak\">obtained by Fox News<\/a>, which concluded that it is essential for health experts and government officials to understand how the deadly virus originated to prevent \u201cor quickly mitigate future pandemics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInternational efforts to discover the true source of the virus, however, have been stymied by a lack of cooperation from the People\u2019s Republic of China,\u201d \u200bthey\u00a0wrote\u200b in the report\u200b. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNevertheless, significant circumstantial evidence raises serious concerns that the COVID-19 outbreak may have been a leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.\u201d\u200b<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" alt=\"Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee say that the People\u2019s Republic of China have hindered &quot;International efforts to discover the true source&quot;
