“#Victor Faces New Challenges (VIDEO)<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\u201cNo more hiding who I am,\u201d Victor (Michael Cimino<\/a>) says in the trailer for Love, Victor<\/em><\/a> Season 2, coming to Hulu on June 11.<\/p>\n

As you\u2019ll recall, the first season ended with Victor coming out as gay to his parents, and now, in his junior year of high school, it\u2019s time to see what\u2019s next for his family, for his relationship with Benji (George Sear), and for everyone else in Creekwood.<\/p>\n

When Benji asks what they\u2019re going to tell everyone about their relationship, Victor decides he wants to tell people. \u201cEveryone thinks coming out is easy these days, but it\u2019s not,\u201d Benji says. And it looks like Victor\u2019s relationship with his mother (Ana Ortiz<\/a>) may be one area in which it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou should be around people who want you to be you,\u201d Benji tells his boyfriend.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing out brings with it new challenges, as Victor faces a family struggling with his revelation, a heartbroken ex-girlfriend in Mia, and the difficulties of being an openly gay star athlete \u2014 all while navigating the excitement of his relationship with Benji,\u201d the logline for Season 2 teases.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to see how [Victor and Benji\u2019s] relationship flourishes [and] how his family copes with the relationship and how they feel about it\u201d moving forward, Cimino told TV Insider after Season 1.<\/p>\n

Love, Victor<\/em> also stars Bebe Wood, Mason Gooding, Isabella Ferreira, Mateo Fernandez, and James Martinez.<\/p>\n

Love, Victor<\/em> is set in the same world as the 2018 movie Love, Simon<\/em>. (Nick Robinson app<\/a>eared in Season 1.) The film\u2019s original writers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger serve as executive producers alongside Brian Tanen, Jason Ensler, Isaac Klausner, Marty Bowen, Adam Fishbach, Wyck Godfrey, Pouya Shahbazian, and Adam Londy.<\/p>\n
