\n J.R. Smith went nearly two weeks without giving his newest team a headache.<\/p>\n

Smith, who signed with the Lakers earlier this month after previously failing to find a roster spot for the 2019-20 season, said he was forced to shut down a recent Instagram Live session because \u201cthey\u201d \u2014 presumably team or league officials \u2014 were angered by him \u201cexposing too much s\u2013t\u201d in the NBA bubble in Orlando.<\/p>\n

During the Thursday live stream, Smith became the latest multi-millionaire to gripe about the food and accommodations at the Disney hotel resort, questioning why rooms were stocked with unhealthy snack options.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re professional athletes and all that \u2026 but then you be over there crying, talking about somebody can\u2019t stay healthy and their body is breaking down and all this other s\u2013t?\u201d Smith said to his 4.8 million followers. \u201cYou want to a motherf\u2014ing Ferrari to run like a Ferrari cause you paid for it as a Ferrari \u2026 but you keep gassing it up with Chrysler s\u2013t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Smith ended the live stream later on.<\/p>\n

\u201cAw man, they mad at me bro. I\u2019m gone,\u201d Smith said before signing off, without specifying who contacted him. \u201cJust got the text. Exposing too much s\u2013t. Gotta go. My bad. My bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

While providing an inside look at life for the players preparing for the league\u2019s 22-team restart at the end of the month, Smith also showed off the high-tech bracelet given out by the league, which is said to \u201chelp with early detection of coronavirus, track temperature, respiratory and heart rate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGot my little band and s\u2013t so they can keep tabs on me,\u201d Smith said. \u201cTracking device. Stay woke.\u201d<\/p>\n

Smith also complained about the provided blankets being too small for NBA players.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old Smith hasn\u2019t played in an NBA game<\/a> since November 2018, having agreed with the Cavaliers at the time to stay away from the team until a trade was worked out for the veteran guard. No trade ever happ<\/a>ened and Smith was waived by Cleveland last July.<\/p>\n

The suspension of the season on March 11 due to the COVID-19 pandemic provided Smith a chance to resuscitate his career, while reuniting with former teammate LeBron James.<\/p>\n

Smith\u2019s deal is worth $290,000 the rest of the season. He has made $87 million in 16 NBA seasons.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
