In my attempt to defend a Charleston, South Carolina brother, I revealed too much information about that man\u2019s family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I look back on the way that I communicated that, I communicated that all wrong. And I unintentionally triggered trauma in a lot of folks I grew up with that I genuinely love. Kwame didn\u2019t want Charlamagne speaking on his name and decided to rehash some of CTG\u2019s history which allegedly includes being charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor in 2001. The charges were eventually dropped.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou want to talk as if you know me,\u201d Kwame said. \u201cRape case guy Charlamagne Tha God, that actually plead guilty and got away with that. You want to talk about a brother that I never met because my father had a son outside of his marriage just like DJ Envy\u2019s cheating ass. So you gonna put out to the world like I\u2019m some killer?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jYb-QSBCJvU\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jYb-QSBCJvU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the same rant, Kwame Brown also addressed <em>All The Smoke<\/em> podcast hosts <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/kbT10P85bgQ\">Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson<\/a>. The former ballers invited Kwame onto their show and Jackson posted about how his violent days are well behind him as he turns a new leaf.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mTLOB Szr5J coreSpriteVerifiedBadgeSmall\" title=\"Verified\">\u201c<\/span><span class=\"\" title=\"Edited\">I disrespected him,\u201d Jackson wrote. \u201cHe disrespected me. We agreed on that and moved on. It\u2019s dead. Sorry nobody got killed or hurt. Know that\u2019s what y\u2019all wanted. It\u2019s A new day.
