Black Adam<\/em><\/strong>, the DC film directed by\u00a0Jaume Collet-Serra<\/strong> and starring Dwayne Johnson<\/strong>, is currently in production. And Johnson, ever the social media<\/a> showman, decided to give us a glimpse of his character. Sort of. It\u2019s a shadowy image that has Johnson looking a little bit like Bruce Willis in\u00a0Unbreakable<\/em>, but for fans hungry for\u00a0any<\/em> sort of look at this film, I suppose this will do. See the\u00a0Black Adam<\/em> image below.<\/p>\n

\nThere you have it \u2013 Black Adam himself! Sort of! Dwayne \u201cThe Rock\u201d Johnson shared this on Instagram<\/a>, and while you can\u2019t see much, it still counts as a\u00a0Black Adam<\/em> image. Johnson also shared the following message, which looks a little bit like a poem based on the formatting:<\/p>\n

If you know the comic book mythology, then you know where his pain comes from.<\/em><\/p>\n

His rage.<\/em>
His wife and children killed.<\/em>
His people brutally enslaved.<\/em><\/p>\n

He is not a superhero, but rather a champion.<\/em><\/p>\n

Champion of the poor and beaten down.<\/em>
\nChampion of the people.<\/em><\/p>\n

And he is the most unstoppable force in the DC UNIVERSE.<\/em><\/p>\n

The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about to change.<\/em><\/p>\n

Black Adam<\/em> will tell the story of the DC anti-hero and sometimes Shazam!<\/em> villain, with Johnson\u2019s Black Adam presented as\u00a0a member of an ancient civilization chosen by the Council of Wizards \u2013 the same Council of Wizards that assisted young Billy Batson in Shazam!<\/em> \u2013 to become a superhero and save his people. But Black Adam uses his newfound power in questionable ways, leading the Council to imprison him for 5000 years. When Black Adam is finally freed, a team of superheroes known as the Justice Society is formed to stop him. The team consists of\u00a0Aldis Hodge<\/strong>\u00a0as Hawkman,\u00a0Noah Centineo<\/strong>\u00a0as Atom Smasher,\u00a0Quintessa Swindell<\/strong>\u00a0as Cyclone, and\u00a0Pierce Brosnan\u00a0<\/strong>as Doctor Fate.<\/p>\n
