\nVideographer Cole Bennett, who directed Eminem\u2019s \u201cGodzilla\u201d and \u201cGnat\u201d videos, clearly has a direct line to Slim Shady. So when Bennett suggested an Eminem and Post Malone collaboration was possibly in the works, Stans worldwide stood up.<\/p>\n

On Sunday (May 23), Bennett shared a since-deleted photo to his Instagram Stories that included both an M&M figure in the background and a baseball bat adorned with Post Malone\u2019s signature barbed-wire pattern, as previously used on his Beerbongs & Bentleys<\/em> album.<\/p>\n

He added a \u201cshocked\u201d and \u201cshhh\u201d emoji as well, pointing to a big announcement.<\/p>\n

Singer-songwriter White Gold, who app<\/a>eared \u201cYou Gon Learn\u201d and \u201cZeus\u201d from Eminem\u2019s Music To Be Murdered<\/em> By <\/em>[Deluxe]\u00a0album, first perpetuated the rumor after Side B<\/em> was released in December 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got some shit man,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cThere\u2019s one I really want him and Post Malone to do. I have the perfect song for them to be on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eminem has linked up with plenty of pop artists during the course of his storied career, including Rihanna, Sia, Ed Sheeran and Beyonc\u00e9.<\/p>\n

In fact, \u201cLove The Way You Lie\u201d featuring Rihanna is one of Shady\u2019s most successful crossover hits. Released in 2010, the track spent seven consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was eventually certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).<\/p>\n

The video for the song currently boasts over over 2.2 billion YouTube<\/a> views. Considering Post Malone\u2019s immense star power, a duet with Eminem could just be one of the biggest songs ever.<\/p>\n
