Gray has been sentenced for his <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2020\/07\/13\/empire-star-bryshere-gray-arrested-domestic-violence-charges-arizona-wife\/\">domestic violence arrest<\/a> stemming from a scary July 2020 incident with his wife Candice Jimdar at their Goodyear, Arizona home.<\/p>\n<p>According to<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2021\/05\/24\/empire-star-bryshere-gray-pleads-guilty-aggravated-assault-dv-domestic-violence-case\/\"><em> TMZ<\/em><\/a>, Gray copped a plea deal and ended up pleading guilty to felony aggravated assault, which landed him 10 days behind bars in county prison and three years of probation.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Empire actor, Bryshere Gray sentenced to 10 days jail term for assaulting his wife <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/uE4BizVozU\">pic.twitter.com\/uE4BizVozU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Naija (@Naija_PR) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Naija_PR\/status\/1396896302680711169?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 24, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>As part of his plea deal, the 27-year-old will be enrolled in a domestic violence treatment program, not allowed to take any recreational drugs, possess firearms, or interact with anyone that has a criminal and pay back restitution.<\/p>\n<p><em><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.12news.com\/article\/news\/crime\/bizarre-and-an-inconsistent-story-inside-the-arrest-of-empire-star\/75-d03b11f2-6b98-4691-8f3e-7767176fd09c\">12News<\/a><\/em> obtained frightening details of the July 2020 arrest from police records, which recalled a bizarre standoff with the SWAT outside their Goodyear residence once Bryshere Y. Gray locked himself inside.<\/p>\n<p>Officers also arrived to find Candice Jimdar with several wounds to her face. She claimed her husband strangled her and she even lost consciousness for a time during the alleged assault.<\/p>\n<p>Jimdar and Gray had been married for nine months at the time of the arrest, but the actor told police they had an \u201copen relationship\u201d and claimed she was his \u201cbest friend.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"article__section article__section_type_text utility__text\">\n\u201cWe have an open relationship as well so I allow her to have a boyfriend because I\u2019m really busy,\u201d he said. \u201cI have a career, I\u2019m an artist, I have a lot of things to lose.\u201d\n<\/div>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u2018Empire\u2019 actor Bryshere Y.
