Thomas Happ<\/a> Game<\/a>s has delayed Axiom Verge 2<\/em> from its previously planned early 2021 release window to Q3 2021. It will be available for Switch and PC via the Epic Games Store<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to IGN<\/a>, Happ said the game \u201cwill be better for the additional time.\u201d The delay will also help Happ avoid burnout and crunch.<\/p>\n

Axiom Verge 2<\/em> is a 2D \u201cmetroidvania\u201d action adventure. Though a sequel to Axiom Verge<\/em>, is a completely new game: new characters, new abilities, new enemies, and a new world. You can play it before or after the original Axiom Verge<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The sole developer, Tom Happ, is responsible for all the music, art, game design, and programming in this game.<\/p>\n
