Publisher Nacon and developer Abrakam Entertainment have moved up the PC (Steam<\/a>) version of roguelike deckbuilder Roguebook<\/em> from its previously planned June 24 release date to June 17, the companies announced. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series<\/a>, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch versions will follow at a later date. <\/span><\/p>\n

A new trailer introducing the game\u2019s deckbuilding mechanics was also released. Here is an overview of the video, via Nacon:<\/p>\n

Unlike other games in the genre, Roguebook<\/em> features a unique gameplay philosophy: the \u201cTower Deck\u201d. Instead of minimizing the number of cards in your deck, Roguebook<\/em> encourages you to collect lots of them to unlock special talents for your heroes. Buy them from merchants, win fights against elites, and make offerings at vaults to collect as many as possible!<\/p>\n

In strategic turn-based fights, you control a team of two heroes, each with their own dedicated cards. By choosing from the four heroes available, you can create powerful synergies: build an impenetrable defense against the most aggressive enemies or put everything into attack to unleash devastating hits.<\/p>\n

And with transmutation and gems that grant extra bonuses when added to your cards, there are even more deckbuilding options. Finally, the world of Roguebook<\/em> is brimming with treasure and artefacts that will make you more powerful during your run.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
