“#Lori Vallow, Chad Daybell indicted on murder charges<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cDoomsday cult\u201d mom Lori Vallow and husband Chad Daybell have been charged with murdering her two children, 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua \u201cJJ\u201d Vallow, according to new court documents. <\/p>\n

Daybell was also charged with killing his ex-wife, Tammy Daybell, according to court documents published by Idaho News 6<\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Idaho couple \u2014 who were previously charged only with hiding the remains of the children \u2014\u00a0were indicted by a grand jury on a slew of murder and conspiracy to commit murder raps.<\/p>\n

As part of the conspiracy charge against the pair \u2014 who are members of the doomsday cult Preparing a People\u00a0\u2014 Idaho prosecutors wrote in the indictment that they espoused religious beliefs to justify killing Lori\u2019s teen daughter. <\/p>\n

\u201cOn between October 26, 2018 and June 9, 2020, Chad Guy Daybell (and Lori Norene Vallow) did endorse and espouse religious beliefs for the purpose of encouraging and\/or justifying the homicide of Tylee Ryan,\u201d the indictment states. <\/p>\n

Investigators found the decomposing remains of JJ and Tylee last June,\u00a0buried in a pet cemetery\u00a0on Daybell\u2019s property in Rexburg, Idaho. <\/p>\n

The children were last seen\u00a0alive in September 2019.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors had previously signaled that they were planning to bring charges against the couple for the deaths of the two children. <\/p>\n

In a call with Lori\u2019s sister, special prosecutor Rob Wood was secretly recorded saying he planned to bring charges against the pair. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to tell you right now we are going to be filing conspiracy to murder charges for both Chad and Lori,\u201d\u00a0Wood said on the call. <\/p>\n

Prior to the killings, Lori had allegedly told a friend that the children had become zombies and the only way to expel the evil spirits from their bodies was to kill them.<\/p>\n
