Yes, the No. 1 overall pick who is considered the top quarterback prospect to enter the league since Andrew Luck, believes Tebow will be good for the Jaguars, which will in turn be good for him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe looks great,\u201d Lawrence said on the AP Pro Football Podcast<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s just a guy that you want to be around. Character is awesome. Had a few conversations with him and I can already tell, and [he\u2019s] just a hard worker. No one is going to work harder than him. Those are the kind of guys you want in your locker room and you want to be around every day. And then I\u2019m excited to see what he can do on the field as well. We got in a few days and he looks great. He\u2019s in awesome shape.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, the Jaguars signed the 33-year-old Tebow, giving the former quarterback another shot in the NFL, this time as a tight end. Tebow will be reuniting with his college coach, Urban Meyer, after trying to play professional baseball with the Mets over the last five years while working as a college football analyst with ESPN.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never met Tim until last week so I didn\u2019t really know him but I was intrigued by his character, his work ethic and what he\u2019s been able to do throughout his life on the field and off the field,\u201d Lawrence said. \u201cAll those things are really interesting so I was excited to meet him. When it was official, I saw him in the locker room and had a few good conversations and I really like him.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
