Idea Factory International will release the Switch version of Dragon Star Varnir<\/em> in the west this summer, the company announced. A physical edition will be available through IFI\u2019s Online Store<\/a> and Limited Run Games<\/a>. Pre-orders for the latter begin on June 15 at 9:00 a.m. PT \/ 12:00 p.m. ET<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Dragon Star Varnir<\/em> first launched for PlayStation 4 in October 2018 in Japan, followed by June 2019 in the west. A PC version was released via Steam<\/a> in October 2019 worldwide. The Switch version launched today in Japan (May 27).<\/p>\n

Story<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a world where the bones of an ancient beast tower over the land\u2026<\/p>\n

The Knight Zephy is part of an order whose role is to hunt down witches\u2014people seen as cursed beings for giving birth to dragons.<\/p>\n

When he is almost killed on one of these missions, two mysterious witches save him from the brink of death by feeding him dragon blood.<\/p>\n
