Does Trump Derangement Syndrome have no end?<\/p>\n

President Biden overturned President Donald Trump\u2019s policies at the southern border, even though they were controlling illegal migration. He\u2019s pushing for a return to the failed Iran deal, even though the Trump administration successfully reined in that country\u2019s spreading of terror.<\/p>\n

Now it\u2019s revealed that Biden shut down an inquiry into the Wuhan lab and the origins of COVID-19 that was started by the State Department under his predecessor.<\/p>\n

Why? Because Trump was pushing it.<\/p>\n

One would hope that, at a certain point, Democrats and the media<\/a> would learn to think for themselves \u2014 rather than just reflectively deciding that \u201cif Trump was for it, I\u2019m against it.\u201d But that\u2019s probably asking too much.<\/p>\n

Biden at least reversed course on Wuhan. After new reporting by the Wall Street Journal and others, it became untenable for the administration to ignore the possibility that COVID-19 leaked from the Chinese lab. Biden has called for a new inquiry, to replace the one he nixed.<\/p>\n

But it never should have been shut down at all. It didn\u2019t take much to see that the World Health Organization\u2019s \u201cinvestigation\u201d was a farce, and that China was stonewalling. The Biden administration\u2019s lack of curiosity about the origins of a pandemic that upended the world came down to one thing: Trump.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s hoping that this new Wuhan inquiry is given the resources and attention it deserves. And that maybe, just maybe, this is a lesson for the Bidenites: Why not weigh each policy on the merits, and not on whether Donald Trump happ<\/a>ens to like it.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
