But hey, maybe they\u2019re better in context.<\/p>\n<p>In this follow-up to the surprise 2017 box office hit\u00a0<em>The Hitman\u2019s Bodyguard<\/em>, <strong>Ryan Reynolds<\/strong> and <strong>Samuel L. Jackson<\/strong> reunite for some more action-comedy shenanigans, and <strong>Salma Hayek<\/strong> gets in on the action as well. Jackson, Salma Hayek\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qRZYZ3g8l54?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I confess I did not see <em>The Hitman\u2019s Bodyguard<\/em> when it opened in 2017, and I never bothered to check it out on home <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>, either, because nothing about it <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ealed to me. But I was in the minority there, because the 2017 action-comedy was a huge hit. A huge hit these days means a sequel is inevitable, and sure enough, here comes the clunkily titled\u00a0<em>Hitman\u2019s Wife\u2019s Bodyguard<\/em>. <strong>Patrick Hughes<\/strong>, who directed the first film, is back to helm this one, working with a screenplay from\u00a0<strong>Tom O\u2019Connor<\/strong> and <strong>Phillip Murphy<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Brandon Murphy<\/strong>. (O\u2019Connor wrote the first movie.)<\/p>\n<p>On the cast front,\u00a0<em>Hitman\u2019s Wife\u2019s Bodyguard<\/em> brings back several cast members from the original and adds some new faces, too. Here you can expect to see\u00a0Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Salma Hayek, with <strong>Antonio Banderas<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Morgan Freeman<\/strong>, <strong>Frank Grillo<\/strong>, <strong>Caroline Goodall<\/strong>, <strong>Rebecca Front<\/strong>, <strong>Gabriella Wright<\/strong>, <strong>Alice McMillan<\/strong>, <strong>Kristofer Kamiyasu<\/strong>,<strong> Tom Hopper<\/strong>, <strong>Blake Ritson<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Richard E. Grant<\/strong>, and honestly, that\u2019s a pretty strong cast.<\/p>\n<p>In this sequel, \u201cThe world\u2019s most lethal odd couple \u2013 bodyguard Michael Bryce (Ryan Reynolds) and hitman Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson) \u2013 are back on another life-threatening mission. Still unlicensed and under scrutiny, Bryce is forced into action by Darius\u2019s even more volatile wife, the infamous international con artist Sonia Kincaid (Salma Hayek). As Bryce is driven over the edge by his two most dangerous protectees, the trio get in over their heads in a global plot and soon find that they are all that stand between Europe and a vengeful and powerful madman (Antonio Banderas). Joining in the fun and deadly mayhem is Morgan Freeman as\u2026well, you\u2019ll have to see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Hitman\u2019s Wife\u2019s Bodyguard<\/em> was initially due out\u00a0August 28, 2020, but the pandemic put those plans on hold. It was moved to\u00a0August 20, 2021, back when everyone was unsure when theaters would open again.
