Reunited and it feels so\u2026sarcastic! On Season 3 of The Kominsky Method<\/em>, Chuck Lorre\u2019s dry comedy about getting older in the land of eternal youth (i.e., Los Angeles), Kathleen Turner joins full time as Roz, the biting ex-wife of Michael Douglas\u2019 self-absorbed acting coach, Sandy Kominsky.<\/p>\n

Expect the kind of verbal jousting they perfected in 1980s blockbusters like Romancing the Stone<\/i> and The War of the Roses<\/i>. Turner opens up about their onscreen reunion.<\/p>\n

You had a cameo in Season 2. Now It seems you were brought in to be Sandy\u2019s sparring partner since his bestie, Norman (Alan Arkin), is no longer around.<\/b><\/p>\n

Kathleen Turner: <\/strong>I think in a way. There\u2019s a scene where Roz says, \u201cIs this how Norman would talk with you?\u201d He says, \u201cYeah, kind of.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Why does that dynamic work so well for you two?<\/b><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know that I can answer that. I\u2019m not sure if Michael can either. But Chuck Lorre has the smarts to see our rhythm and make use of it!<\/p>\n

Yes. It\u2019s really sweet where they each go, \u201cYou believe this? I like you!\u201d Though a favorite barb is [when Roz says] \u201cI never stopped loving you.\u201d Sandy goes, \u201cReally?\u201d Roz says, \u201cNo, I\u2019m just [messing] with you!\u201d<\/p>\n

Have you two kept in touch through the years?<\/b><\/p>\n

We have, because I live in New York. And Michael moved back East. So [on set] it was right back to, \u201cOh, hi, you!\u201d<\/p>\n
