\nKim Kardashian<\/strong> has finally addressed the rumors that she used to hook up with Travis Barker<\/strong>, and her response is very inneresting!<\/p>\n

By that, we of course mean first of all that it\u2019s a bit too hard to believe, as the KUWTK<\/em> star blasted the rumors as nothing but a \u201cfalse narrative\u201d \u2014 so, like, a massive hoax? Because if true, that would mean quite a few celebs were in on it.<\/p>\n

The comment came on Wednesday when Kimmy Kakes decided to answer some fan questions on her Instagram Stories<\/strong>. Naturally, a fan asked whether she and Kourtney Kardashian<\/strong>\u2019s boyfriend had hooked up in the past \u2014 a claim that was made by the drummer\u2019s ex Shanna Moakler<\/strong> and corroborated by Aubrey O\u2019Day<\/strong> of all people thanks to a resurfaced Instagram<\/strong> quote.<\/p>\n

When asked point blank if she had ever played with the Blink-182<\/strong> member\u2019s drumstick, the SKIMS<\/strong> founder wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cNO! False narrative! We\u2019ve been friends for years and I\u2019m so happ<\/a>y for him and Kourt.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well, that\u2019s a clear and concise denial, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

Typically, when a celeb addresses a rumor in their own words, we\u2019d want to take their word for it \u2014 but there are a bit too many receipts in this case to take Kim\u2019s comment at face value.<\/p>\n

First, we have Travis\u2019 ex-wife\u2019s account. Earlier this month, Moakler claimed she \u201ccaught\u201d the musician \u201chaving an affair\u201d with the KKW Beauty<\/strong> mogul before their 2008 divorce, insisting to Us Weekly<\/em> that her ex-hubby is \u201c100 percent\u201d lying about not getting together with Kim in the past. She claimed:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were working on our marriage and trying to heal through that affair, that infidelity, [but] he continued to [work with her]. And then I received all the text messages and the other third parties kind of let me know. It\u2019s something I was well aware of.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Although Travis denied having any romantic relationship with Kim in his 2015 book, Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums<\/em>, he confessed to \u201csecretly checking\u201d her out while he was spending time with her bestie Paris Hilton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While promoting the book, Barker told Us<\/i> at the time:<\/p>\n

\u201cHow could you not stare at Kim? Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls. Kim was eye candy. I was in no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn\u2019t keep my eyes off Kim.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Then there\u2019s an unbiased third party: a resurfaced IG post from O\u2019Day from July 2020 claimed:<\/p>\n

\u201cI was \u2018bffs\u2019 with Kim Kardashian during a fourth [of July]. She was hooking up with Travis Barker and we were at his house \u2026 he was really dope.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And that was posted long before Kourtney and Travis! Like we said, there are just too many receipts to ignore here.<\/p>\n

Obviously, Kim\u2019s made her stance clear, but it makes us wonder: what does Kourtney think about all this? If Kim is denying the rumors publicly, is she also denying them to Kourt? Or are the two in agreement to publicly dismiss whatever did go down as a \u201cfalse narrative\u201d so fans are less icked out?<\/p>\n
