But nobody quite got people talking than his late \u201990s\/early 2000s romance with Jennifer Lopez\u00a0a.k.a. \u201cJenny From The Block.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After several red carpet <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earances and endless PDA, the Puffy and J. Lo era came to an end on Valentine\u2019s Day 2001, less than two years after they first got together.<\/p>\n<p>But on Thursday (May 27), Diddy was clearly reminiscing on that time and decided to share an old photo of the former couple holding hands \u2014 even though Lopez has been spotted with her ex Ben Affleck over the past couple of weeks following her split with fianc\u00e9 Alex \u201cA-Rod\u201d Rodriguez.<\/p>\n<p>Some of Diddy\u2019s celebrity friends rolled through with some entertaining comments. Keyshia Cole wrote, \u201cTell ha, come on home baby,\u201d while DJ Holiday comment, \u201cGo get your girl. Lopez\u2019s charges were dropped, but Diddy went on\u00a0trial for bribery and gun possession in January 2001 and was acquitted.<\/p>\n<p>But as Diddy told\u00a0<em>Access Hollywood<\/em> at the time, the trial wasn\u2019t easy on their relationship.\u00a0\u201cIt was a rough year and I just want her to be happy,\u201d he said before admitting he regretted going out that fateful night. \u201cI had a better party at home than I could get anywhere else. I should have just stayed in with her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Former Bad Boy Records artist Shyne revisited the nightclub shooting last September during an interview with Fat Joe for his Instagram Live show.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat was happening for me in my life in my time was a miracle, cause that incident in Club New York almost ended my career,\u201d Shyne said. \u201cAll I used to pray for, I know I defended myself \u2026 I defended my friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Around that time, Lopez talked to <em>Vanity Fair<\/em> about the trial, calling it\u00a0\u201cextremely painful and draining.\u201d She added, \u201cBut I\u2019m sure not half as much as it was for him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although it put stress on their relationship, it didn\u2019t lead to their breakup. In 2002, Lopez told Oprah Winfrey it was \u201cgradual,\u201d noting the nightclub incident was not to blame for the dissolution of their relationship.<\/p>\n<p>But Lopez doesn\u2019t seem to be interested in Diddy.
