“#Maine woman missing after getting into vehicle in Times Square<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

A 29-year-old woman from Maine has gone missing after she was last seen getting into a car in Times Square early Monday morning, according to police.<\/p>\n

Christine Hammontree was spotted on surveillance footage at McDonald\u2019s in the Crossroads of the World getting into a vehicle with \u201ca group of unidentified individuals\u201d a little after 2 a.m., police in Falmouth, Maine, said in a news<\/a> release.<\/p>\n

Her parents reported her missing in Maine on Tuesday, cops said.<\/p>\n

A specific descript<\/a>ion of the vehicle and its occupants wasn\u2019t available Thursday, Falmouth Police Lt. Jeff Pardue told The Post.<\/p>\n

But cops are awaiting the results of a subpoena for more video footage and expecting to release specifics when they have them. <\/p>\n

Hammontree, of Plymouth, lived for a time in New York but had moved back home with her parents, Pardue said.<\/p>\n

Local police have jurisdiction because her residence is in Maine, but the NYPD is assisting in the investigation.<\/p>\n

Hammontree had been visiting a boyfriend in the Big Apple, Pardue confirmed, but she was expected back in Maine this week.<\/p>\n

The missing woman is described as 5\u20199\u2033 with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing an oversized blue T-shirt, cut-off jeans and sandals. She had aviator sunglasses on her head and was carrying an orange backpack, police said.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information or who has seen Hammontree since her last known whereabouts is asked to call the Falmouth police at 207-781-2300.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
