He took to Instagram to voice his frustrations over his omission in the nominations.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c<\/em>TIRED OF BEING QUIET SOMETIMES I BE WONDERING WHO ASS I GOTTA KISS TO STOP BEING SHITTED ON,\u201d\u00a0Yung Bleu wrote on Instagram in a since-deleted post.\u00a0\u201c@bet YALL NO THATS SOME BULLSHIT! DNT SAY YALL DNT CONSIDER ME A NEW ARTIST EITHER CUZ Y\u2019all think I POPped UP AFTER YOUR MINES STILL! APPLUAD EVERY ARTIST ON THE LIST YALL DESERVE IT but I BEEN GRINDING! The \u201cBig Prr (Prrdd)\u201d rapper was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the BET Awards. For the Best New Artist category, Leray is going up against Flo Milli, Giveon, Jack Harlow, Latto, and Pooh Shiesty. For Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Cardi B, Doja Cat, Latto, Megan Thee Stallion, and Saweetie will be taking on Leray for the trophy.<\/p>\n<p>Coi Leray has been enjoying this successful breakout but can\u2019t forget how far she\u2019s come. On May 17, Coi Leray took to Instagram to share a photo of her mugshot from 2018. According to one of the charges she showed in another picture, Leray was arrested for drug possession, and she reminded fans that her critics barely know her.
