Michael Cohen \u2014 who is still on house arrest \u2014 was spotted at fancy French bistro Le Bilboquet on the Upper East Side Wednesday night, after generating a flurry of headlines by eating at the same spot nearly a year ago.<\/p>\n

Cohen, 54, pled guilty to campaign finance fraud stemming from hush-money payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels and ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal \u2014 as well as tax evasion and lying to Congress \u2014 and was sentenced to three years.<\/p>\n

He was released from prison in May 2020 due to concerns about coronavirus, and has been serving out the remainder of his sentence \u2014 ending in November \u2014 under house arrest.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cohen\u2019s lawyer Jeffrey K. Levine tells us that for Wednesday evening\u2019s dining out, Cohen \u201cgot special permission from the BOP [Bureau of Prisons} and RRM [Residential Reentry Management] to eat out. He made a request and it was granted.\u201d<\/p>\n

When we called Cohen to ask if the meal was to celebrate a special occasion, he declined to answer.<\/p>\n

Last July \u2014 Cohen caused eyebrows to raise when The Post exclusively broke that he was dining at the same swanky restaurant.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Cohen, who has been disbarred, posted a video of himself <\/a>on Twitter<\/a> chasing after a woman in Central Park who had flipped him off.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s make you famous,\u201d he\u2019s heard saying as he records her giving him the finger.<\/p>\n

Levine tells us that Cohen \u201cis permitted to go out from his home a certain number of hours every weekday. He can go out to exercise the same way he would at [federal prison] Otisville.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cAs far as I am concerned, he is 100 percent compliant with the court\u2019s order, and fully compliant with all the requirements from the New York Bureau of Prisons and his home confinement.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Federal Bureau of Prisons Office of Public Affairs tells us: \u201cFor safety, security, and privacy reasons, we do not discuss the conditions of confinement for any individual or group of inmates.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cohen, Donald Trump\u2019s former personal attorney, has been pushing for a reduced sentence.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
