This is a subgenre made up of squirm-inducing offerings like\u00a0<em>Straw Dogs\u00a0<\/em>(1971), <em>When a Stranger Calls <\/em>(1979), <em>Them\u00a0<\/em>(2006),\u00a0<em>Inside\u00a0<\/em>(2007), and\u00a0<em>Hush\u00a0<\/em>(2016). But in 2011, <strong>Adam Wingard<\/strong> delivered a twist on the format that was not only horrifying but damn fun: <em><strong>You\u2019re Next<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The film concerns the wealthy yet dysfunctional Davison family, who are attacked by three crossbow-wielding masked men during a reconciliatory weekend getaway.
