The feature is easy to disable\u00a0but tricky to delete. Here\u2019s how to remove Cortana completely from your Windows 10 PC.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Requirements\"><\/span>Requirements<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Removing Cortana from your computer isn\u2019t as straightforward as using the Settings <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>. On earlier versions of Windows 10, if you deleted Cortana, you\u2019d also end up removing Windows Search and breaking the Windows Start menu.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, Microsoft made it possible to properly delete Cortana from Windows with the Windows 10 May 2020 Update (version 2004). So, before getting started, make sure that you\u2019re running Windows 10 version 2004 or higher.<\/p>\n<p>You can see your current Windows version by opening Settings and navigating to System &gt; About, and then scrolling down and reading the \u201cVersion\u201d of Windows that you\u2019re running. If the number is \u201c2004\u201d or higher, you\u2019re good to go.
