\nWhen combing through the New Music Friday possibilities each week, there\u2019s always loads of interesting material each week. <\/p>\n

South Central-bred rapper Ncognita is no exception. <\/p>\n

On her bassy new single \u201cGangsta Lean,\u201d she flirts with a Molotov cocktail of aggressive raw rap, a steely flow and unabashed swag overtop thunderous 808s. However, it\u2019s the fanfare around the song that piqued the most curiosity. <\/p>\n

In a tweet on Thursday (May 27), the official account of Issa Rae\u2019s Atlantic Records-backed Raedio LLC imprint subtly jumped out in front of the announcement Ncognita by sharing a clip of sonic lightning rod visualizer with the \u201cGangsta Lean\u201d single.<\/p>\n
