Relayer<\/em>, the \u201cnew age space opera\u201d strategy RPG from Kadokawa Game<\/a>s\u2019 God Wars<\/em> development team, will launch both physically and digitally for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 simultaneously in North America, Europe, Japan, and Asia in 2021, distributor Clouded Leopard Entertainment announced. It will support English and Japanese voice-overs, with English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean subtitle options. <\/span><\/p>\n

Relayer<\/em> takes place in the Milky Way galaxy, within our solar system. Humanity\u2019s very existence is threatened by mysterious extraterrestrials known as the Relayers, who plan to annihilate the universe. As if in response to the Relayers\u2019 invasion, the Starchildren, human successors to the wills of the stars, awaken.<\/p>\n

A Simulation RPG Where You Lead Your Troops to Victory Using Strategy and Four Different Types of Spacecraft!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Relayer<\/em>, players participate in turn-based battles, where each different unit plays its own specific role in combat. There are four different types of Stellar Gear, or spacecraft controlled by a Starchild: Assault, Sniper, Tank, and Scout. Each type\u2019s attack range and weaponry vary, so players will be required to position themselves according to the unique battle situation.<\/p>\n

Players can also employ various combat strategies, such as using \u201chate\u201d to draw the enemy\u2019s attention, allowing certain allies to act as decoys, and calling upon allies to push the enemy back.<\/p>\n

This is the first new simulation RPG for PS5 from the highly acclaimed God Wars<\/em> development team!<\/p>\n

Overcome Challenges by Customizing Your Character\u2019s Occupation!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Relayer<\/em>, each character can be assigned to one of the 20 unique job types and over 20 general<\/a>-purpose jobs in-game. Jobs distinguish your character as an individual, and it can even give you an advantage in battle! There are over 80 jobs to choose from, and each one is unique.<\/p>\n

An Interstellar Adventure with More Than 80 Stages!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to the main scenario, Relayer<\/em> contains 80+ stages, including the side story The Asterism\u2019s Voyage, which is unlocked as the story progresses.
