\nThe View<\/em> is obviously a show that\u2019s always been known for its disagreements \u2014 you can\u2019t expect to have several people cover Hot Topics and never get any strong points of view. But Meghan McCain<\/strong> has proven to be one of the most controversial co-hosts ever to sit at the table.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not even for hot takes, as Meghan rarely presents any. Nor is it for her repeated whataboutisms and pivoting to right wing talking points. While those have certainly turned off many viewers over the past couple years \u2014 not for difference of opinion but lack of reason \u2014 that\u2019s not what makes gurl a trending topic every other week.<\/p>\n

No, Meghan gets herself into hot water most of the time just by being rude as hell!<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve discussed her fights with\u00a0Joy Behar<\/strong>,\u00a0Whoopi Goldberg<\/strong>, and\u00a0Sunny Hostin<\/strong> before. At the end of the day most of the squabbles don\u2019t escalate due to disagreements but due to Meghan jumping to conclusions, not listening to her co-stars, and playing the conservative martyr card.<\/p>\n

Even her pal Andy Cohen<\/strong>, who gets the more fun, relaxed Meghan when she app<\/a>ears as a frequent guest on Watch What Happens Live<\/em>, can\u2019t deny gurl plays rough during her day job. So when he had her momma,\u00a0Cindy McCain<\/strong>, on his\u00a0SiriusXM<\/strong> show, he had to ask\u00a0her<\/em> reaction to Meghan being such a \u201ctough cookie\u201d on\u00a0The View<\/em>. John McCain<\/strong>\u2018s widow said proudly:<\/p>\n

\u201cEver since she was little, we called her John McCain in a dress. Because she was always fighting, she was always questioning\u2026 she\u2019s always been that way. So that\u2019s her nickname within the family.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She also gushed:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think she\u2019s doing a great job, she stands up for what she believes in, and that\u2019s all you can ask for. And she\u2019s also really smart. So I appreciate what she does.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Then she laughed and added:<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t always agree with her, but I do appreciate it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But when Andy pressed her on the fighting, mentioning the squabble this week in which she once again fought with Joy and then snapped at Whoopi for daring to end the segment \u2014 even visibly upsetting the usually peacemaking\u00a0Sara Haines<\/strong>. (It\u2019s not pleasant TV.)<\/p>\n

At that, Cindy actually blanched a bit, admitting:<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, from a mom \u2014 you know, you teach your children to be polite and be nice to other people and all that kind of stuff, and it does make me cringe a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She added:<\/p>\n

\u201cBut again, it\u2019s her job and it\u2019s what she does. And it\u2019s Whoopi\u2019s job to keep the peace, so I understand everything that\u2019s going on there. But as a mom, yeah, it does bother me a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well, it bothers a lot of moms out there \u2014 except the ones who are happy to sell the narrative of the poor, put-upon conservative who isn\u2019t allowed to have her say and is being silenced by the\u00a0daytime TV deep state<\/em>. Those moms love it.<\/p>\n
