She\u2019s lovin\u2019 it \u2014 maybe a little too much.<\/p>\n

A lifelong McDonald\u2019s fan has turned her home into a shrine to the fast-food chain, complete with its iconic golden arches and Happ<\/a>y Meal toys.<\/p>\n

Taylor Gecking, 31, who lives with her husband Adam, 40, in Richmond, Va., has collected more than 100 memorabilia items over the years \u2014 and even had the walls of the couple\u2019s home painted red and yellow, Metro UK reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The abode includes a Ronald McDonald stained-glass window \u2014 Gecking\u2019s favorite item and which first sparked her interest in \u201canything McDonald\u2019s themed\u201d a couple years ago, she told the outlet.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy husband and I stopped at a flea market during a road trip<\/a> and saw the Ronald McDonald stained-glass piece, and I was inexplicably drawn to it,\u201d Gecking said. <\/p>\n

\u201cI walked away from it that day, but a whole year later, as we were driving through the same area, I asked him to stop at the flea market so I could see if [the piece] was still there.\u201d<\/p>\n

The price still hadn\u2019t gone down, so the couple walked away again. But her husband surprised her with the kitschy artwork the next day \u2014 having driven eight hours round-trip back to West Virginia to buy it for her.<\/p>\n

She even has the fast-food chain\u2019s golden arches \u2014 an original 1970s sign taken from a McDonald\u2019s restaurant \u2014 hanging above her stairs.<\/p>\n

\u2018No matter what items I add to the collection, my Ronald McDonald window will always be my favorite, but I did feel a really childish excitement when we hung the giant sign on the wall,\u201d Gecking admitted. \u201cIt was everything I had envisioned, and I definitely did a little happy dance.<\/p>\n

The woman said she believes she has more than 90 McDonald\u2019s-themed items, counting all of her individual Happy Meal toys.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve found some of my smaller things at antique malls or flea markets, but many of my items are from online marketplaces,\u201d she said. \u201cThe biggest rush I\u2019ve had was finding the hamburger spring toy. It was amongst hundreds of items on a local online estate auction.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said her McDonald\u2019s obsession started when she was little.<\/p>\n

\u201cI visited the play place back when they still used the McDonaldland characters, Ronald, Grimace, Hamburgular etc.,\u201d she told Metro. \u201cMy sister and I had so much fun climbing around and sliding into the ball pit. It made a mundane lunch something to look forward to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, she simply hopes to grow her collection.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne day I hope to add a Ronald McDonald sitting on a bench, but so far it\u2019s been out of the budget. A girl can dream,\u201d Gecking said. <\/p>\n
