Now, the\u00a0<em>worse\u00a0<\/em>news: There may not ever be a new episode ever again following last week\u2019s finale. Recently the network chose to cancel the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a>-fiction <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> after just one season, with low ratings seemingly being the reason for it. We\u2019re not going to sit here and argue that the ratings were stellar, but the move still stinks for a number of reasons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How much of a chance did the show get?\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Sure, it had a decent lead-in courtesy of\u00a0<em>The Voice,\u00a0<\/em>but that show isn\u2019t anywhere near the ratings superstar that it was early on in its run.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where was the promotion elsewhere?\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Unless you\u2019re a regular watcher of NBC primetime, there\u2019s probably a good chance that you never heard of this show. Also, because it premiered so late in the TV season it didn\u2019t get all that much of a push before it first aired.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where is the other genre programming?\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Science fiction often has a smaller crowd watching, but there is still immense value in these stories \u2014 they diversify your content and can build passionate followings. With\u00a0<em>Debris\u00a0<\/em>over, it\u2019s not like there\u2019s a huge flurry of similar shows elsewhere.\u00a0<em>Manifest\u00a0<\/em>is probably the closest thing NBC has and now, you may have to look towards The CW to at least see a network willing to embrace the format.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re still waiting to see if a\u00a0<em>Debris\u00a0<\/em>season 2 ends up somewhere else \u2014 can we get a miracle here?
