A least eight people were struck by gunfire in separate shootings across the city on Monday night, sources said. <\/p>\n

Five people were injured when gunshots rang out in Bushwick at around 8 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.<\/p>\n

Three of the injured were taken to area hospitals. One was treated at the scene and another walked into the nearby 83rd Precinct station house. Their conditions were not immedia<\/a>tely clear.<\/p>\n

The shooting was being investigated possibly gang-related, a source said.<\/p>\n

In Staten Island, two men were shot near 231 Steuben Street near the Park Hill Houses. They were taken to a nearby hospital.<\/p>\n

They had been standing at the location just after 8 p.m. when a gunman opened fire. <\/p>\n

A 19-year-old victim was hit once in the arm and a 20-year-old victim was hit once in his leg. <\/p>\n

The shooter fled into a wooded area nearby. Police are seeking surveillance footage. <\/p>\n

The victims, whose injuries aren\u2019t considered life-threatening, were taken to Staten Island University Hospital.<\/p>\n

One person was shot at 2360 Mott Avenue in Far Rockaway, Queens, according to sources.<\/p>\n
