A man got stabbed in the back with his own knife during a wild brawl inside of a Harlem subway station on Monday morning, according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n

The 51-year-old victim and an unidentified man exchanged words at around 6 a.m. on the mezzanine level of the 125th Street station, police said.<\/p>\n

Surveillance video released by cops shows the suspect pulling out \u201ctwo metal objects\u201d \u2014 which app<\/a>ear to be broken umbrella handles \u2014 and squaring up for a fight.<\/p>\n

The victim then produced a pair of knives and began going toe-to-toe with the other man, according to the footage.<\/p>\n

At one point, the unidentified man suddenly grabbed the victim and held him up against a wall, before slamming him to the ground.<\/p>\n

A woman in a red coat can be seen rushing over to help and trying to pull the man off of the victim, to no avail.<\/p>\n

The man was able to get ahold of one of the victim\u2019s knives \u2014 and stabbed him in the back multiple times, police said.<\/p>\n

First responders took the injured man to Harlem Hospital. He was in stable condition.<\/p>\n

Cops are looking for the other man, who fled on foot.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
