\nBUCKHEAD, GA \u2013 <\/span> Akon is sparing the individual who\u00a0stole his car at an Atlanta gas station\u00a0last week. According to The Shade Room<\/em>, Akon\u2019s reps said he wouldn\u2019t be pressing charges against the carjacker because he\u2019s been in that kind of position before the fame.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was him before he was blessed with this success so he understands the struggle,\u201d the source explained. \u201cHe doesn\u2019t plan to press charges so he hopes they take that as a second chance to focus on a more positive app<\/a>roach to getting out the hood and make use of the time they have out of jail to better their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n
