\nIt\u2019s been quite some time since people got together to enjoy a Hip Hop concert thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic keeping everyone at home. With the world slowly getting back on its feet, Hip Hop artists are wasting no time hitting the road to give their fans the excitement they\u2019ve been waiting over a year for.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Things didn\u2019t seem to go that way for <\/span>Coi Leray<\/span> during a recent show, though. A viral video made its rounds on social media<\/a> where a crowd looks unresponsive to Coi Leray\u2019s performance. The 24-year-old was dragged all over social media for the seemingly unmoving set but she received some support from <\/span>Nicki Minaj<\/span> and others.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, a concertgoer that was at the show is stepping up in defense of the \u201cNo More Parties\u201d rapp<\/a>er. Over the weekend, the girl that appears at the beginning of the video looking unbothered took to social media to explain that Coi Leray\u2019s set wasn\u2019t as bad as people were making it seem.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBasically, I was just confused,\u201d she said of her deadpan expression at the beginning of the video. \u201cIt was really bad timing too, \u2019cause when she came out on stage, everybody was like real hype, but I guess she started performing her newer songs first and everybody was really like, looking for \u2018Big Purr\u2019 and \u2018No More Parties,\u2019 so that\u2019s what happened right there. Nobody knew the songs.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
