\n Inti Creates has released<\/a> new information and screenshots for Blaster Master Zero III<\/em> introducing the game<\/a>\u2019s new characters Kane, Jennifer, and Metal Attacker (Original). <\/span><\/p>\n
The company also announced that a demo will be available for PC via Steam from June 16 to 22 as part of Steam Next Fest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After the events of Blaster Master Zero II<\/em>, Jason and Eve had finally reached their destination, the planet Sophia, after a long and arduous journey through space. However, a brand new crisis was lying in wait for them upon their arrival.<\/p>\n
Blaster Master Zero III<\/em> begins with Jason and Eve being attacked by the planet\u2019s army, the Sophia Force, after which they were captured and along with their support animal Fred, were separated from one another and imprisoned.<\/p>\n
Today, we are excited to finally reveal some familiar faces you may have seen in Blaster Master Zero III<\/em>\u2018s key art! Let\u2019s meet Kane, the commander of the Sophia Force army, the battle tank that started it all, the original Metal Attacker, and Jennifer, Kane\u2019s wife and engineer of the Metal Attacker series<\/a>!<\/p>\n
Some of your Blaster Master<\/em> enthusiasts may recognize Kane and Jennifer as the protagonists from Metafight, the Japanese version of Blaster Master<\/em> for the NES (as you can probably surmise just from this, the Metafight<\/em> for Famicom and Blaster Master<\/em> for NES had completely different stories and characters)! How will their fates tie together with Jason and Eve\u2019s?<\/p>\n

Kane<\/strong>
\nPlanetary Defender and Metafighter<\/p>\n
\u201cMy duty is to protect the planet Sophia. I cannot show mercy to those who threaten it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

He is the protagonist of Chou Wakusei Metafight<\/em> (the Japanese version of the original Blaster Master<\/em> game with a completely different story and setting) and prodigal pilot of the original Metal Attacker. He saved the planet Sophia from the invading Invem Dark Star Army (also known as the mutants) 10 years ago.<\/p>\n
He now serves as the commander of Sophia\u2019s army, the Sophia Force, and works to defend the planet while also overseeing its reconstruction.<\/p>\n
In Blaster Master Zero III<\/em>, Kane, along with his Metal Attacker, stands in Jason\u2019s way for reasons unknown\u2026<\/p>\n

\nGenius Scientist, Engineer, and Mother<\/p>\n

She is the engineer of the All-Terrain Battle Tank \u201cMetal Attacker\u201d that helped put a stop to the Invem invasion 10 years ago.<\/p>\n
Jennifer lives with Kane and her daughter, Eva, at the satellite NORA\u2019s Science<\/a> Academy where she works as a researcher.<\/p>\n
Jason must meet up with Jennifer on NORA to have her analyze a certain \u201csomething\u201d he finds on his journey.<\/p>\n

Metal Attacker (Original)<\/strong>
\nLegendary Battle Tank<\/p>\n
Official name: \u201cSOPHIA THE 3RD NORA MA-01 METAL ATTACKER.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

It was the first battle tank in the Metal Attacker series, created to combat the invading Invem Dark Star Army on Sophia. After surviving the intense battle against the Invem, Kane still pilots the tank 10 years later, having gone through countless upgrades and repairs.<\/p>\n
As the originator of the MA Series which Jason\u2019s trusty SOPHIA III was based on, the two vehicles have many similar weapons and maneuvers.<\/p>\n
