Embattled Gov. Andrew Cuomo, facing multiple investigations, is holding a June 29 campaign fundraiser as he eyes re-election to a fourth term next year.<\/p>\n

The asking price for the \u201csummer reception\u201d: $10,000 per person and $15,000 for two.<\/p>\n

The New York City-based event will be held at 6 p.m., according to the e-invitation sent out by Cuomo campaign finance director Gita Tiku.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s believed to be Cuomo\u2019s first high-dollar fundraiser since he was hit with state and federal investigations over his handling of the coronavirus pandemic and treatment of female staffers.<\/p>\n

The state Assembly Judiciary Committee is conducting an impeachment inquiry into accusations that Cuomo hid the true number of COVID nursing home resident deaths, gave family members and associates priority access to COVID tests during the early days of the pandemic, used staffers and other government resources to help write his \u201cLeadership\u201d memoir on the pandemic, and claims that he sexually harassed female or former female staffers.<\/p>\n

State Attorney General<\/a> Letitia James has launched her own investigation into the sexual harassment claims and the circumstances surrounding the Cuomo book.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office and the FBI are investigating team Cuomo\u2019s alleged underreporting of COVID nursing home deaths, launched after The Post exclusively reported that a top Cuomo aide admitted to hiding the complete data from state lawmakers for months out of fear the information would be \u201cused against us\u201d by federal prosecutors in the Trump Justice Department.<\/p>\n

Cuomo has denied any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not surprising,\u201d said a source on the Cuomo campaign\u2019s fundraising mailing list, saying there\u2019s a possibility that the governor could tap campaign funds to cover his legal costs.<\/p>\n

The Albany insider said lobbyists and other donors with business before the state government may \u201chedge their bets and ante up\u201d in case Cuomo is cleared of wrongdoing and runs for a fourth term.<\/p>\n

Cuomo\u2019s father, the late Gov. Mario Cuomo, also served three terms<\/a> but was defeated by Republican<\/a> George Pataki in 1994 when he unsuccessfully ran for re-election for a fourth term.<\/p>\n

Pataki went on to serve three terms.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
