A man slashed someone in the head with gardening shears Wednesday morning in Midtown, cops said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The suspect attacked the victim around 5:30 a.m. on Eighth Avenue near West 48th Street, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The victim suffered a non-life-threatening cut on the forehead.<\/p>\n

The attacker \u2014 who is around 5 feet 9 and 140 pounds, last seen wearing a blue jacket, black pants and a gray winter hat \u2014 ran off after the incident. <\/p>\n

Cops did not immedia<\/a>tely know the gender or age of the victim.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
