A woman in the Philippines was shocked to allegedly discover a deep-fried towel in her order from a fried chicken chain. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis is really disturbing \u2026 How the hell do you get the towel in the batter and even fry it!?!?\u201d\u00a0wrote Alique Perez alongside a Facebook video<\/a> of the revolting find in a post that has been shared nearly 80,000 times. The woman had reportedly ordered the kitchen nightmare from a Jollibee restaurant in the city of Taguig, through a local food delivery service called Grab.<\/p>\n

Perez explained that she was having trouble cutting into what she thought was her son\u2019s chicken order. The fast-food enthusiast finally succeeded in ripping apart the batter with her hands, whereupon she discovered a \u201cdeep fried towel\u201d inside, like some sort of bizarro unboxing video.<\/p>\n

An accompanying clip showed Perez handling the blue cloth, which is completely encrusted in batter. <\/p>\n

\u201cWorst experience ever,\u201d she lamented as the camera zoomed in on her extra-chewy filling. <\/p>\n

Onlookers were aghast at her deep-fried debacle. <\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s disgusting,\u201d remarked one horrified commenter, alongside a gif of a cartoon rabbit sporting a disgusted look on its face.<\/p>\n

Another wrote: \u201cThis is actually a good case for a lawsuit.\u00a0\"\ud83d\ude1e\"\u00a0Your Health and other people\u2019s health were compromised due to mishandling.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI wonder how\u00a0Jollibee<\/a>\u00a0will spin this,\u201d quipped one social-media jokester.<\/p>\n

Jollibee did not immediately return a request for comment from The Post. Perez\u2019s Facebook post did not indicate whether she reached out to the company.<\/p>\n

Perez, for one, may not look at fast food the same way again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really thought that the post complaining about weird stuff in their orders were just all made up, now I know that it really happens!\u201d she wrote in the post.<\/p>\n

Indeed, this isn\u2019t the first time someone has discovered an unpleasant surprise in their dinner. A UK couple elicited online retching in 2019 after posting pictures of a human tooth they\u2019d allegedly found in their box of Chinese takeout.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
